Procurement of emergency ambulance

Driven by its mission to provide standardized, modern, and high-quality rehabilitation services to patients with disabilities, the Rehabilitation Center of the Thai Red Cross Society has identified the urgent need to procure a new emergency medical service vehicle for patient transport. The current emergency medical service vehicle used for patient transfers has exceeded its lifespan, resulting in incomplete equipment that does not meet the required standards.

In fiscal year 2023, a total of 19 patients were referred for further treatment, averaging approximately 4-6 patients per month. The majority of these patients were elderly individuals presenting with abnormalities. Some patients experienced a worsening of their condition, necessitating referral for specialized care. The most common reasons for referral included: Neurological changes (a progression of their underlying brain condition), Sepsis (bloodstream infections), Aspiration pneumonia (a condition where food or liquid enters the lungs), and Seizures
